Warranty

Woodtech warrants to Buyer that all products sold to Buyer will conform to all applicable written specifications on signed-off and approved Woodtech drawings, and shall be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of time not to exceed five (5) years for veneer products and three (3) years for solid wood products, from the date product was received and accepted in good condition.

Woodtech's warranty does not apply to damage claims made after the products were received and accepted in good condition.

Woodtech must be provided a reasonable opportunity to inspect all products for which a warranty claim is made. If repairs or other work is performed on the product before such opportunity to inspect, the warranty will be deemed null and void.  Any repair and services costs must be approved in advance in writing by Woodtech, otherwise Woodtech will not pay them and shall void this Limited Warranty.

Any misuse, additions, modifications and or alterations of the product shall void this Limited Warranty and in addition do not apply to repairs, touch ups and or refinish work done to the product without Woodtech’s authorization.

WOODTECH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE IF A REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHOULD TAKE PLACE. Repairs or replacements shall not renew or extend the original warranty term.

•             Customer Duty to Inspect Upon Receipt/Delivery: IT IS CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CAREFULLY AND FULLY INSPECT THE PRODUCT(S) WHEN RECEIVED AND TO NOTE AND REPORT ON THE DRIVER’S COPY OF THE PACKING SLIP AND/OR BILL OF LADING PRIOR TO ACCEPTING DELIVERY ANY DAMAGE OR OTHER ISSUES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL INVALIDATE ANY WARRANTY AND CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AS TO SUCH ITEMS AND WOODTECH WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH DAMAGE OR ISSUES.

•             All product shall be stored and maintained at all times by Customer and/or Customer’s agents and representatives and/or Customer’s end user before, during  and after installation at a temperature between 55- and 78-degrees Fahrenheit, at 43% to 70% relative humidity, and shielded from direct sunlight. Failure to provide and maintain adequate temperature and humidity conditions and/or to protect from direct sunlight will void any and all Woodtech Inc. warranties. If Equipment is installed in our product and generates and/ or build up heat inside our product over 78-degrees Fahrenheit, this shall void this Limited Warranty.

 •            Indoor Solid wood product: Reclaimed wood, salvaged wood, slabs, butcher block, rustic wood, etc. Slight cracks, warping, imperfections and color variations are inherent to each piece and are not considered defects.  Woodtech's warranty do not apply to any of the previous described conditions. Wood adjusts different times of the year to the moisture content of the air. In a sense the wood breathes. Solid wood will also adjust to the moisture content of your space. A dry space may cause the wood to move or crack more than the space with proper humidity. Failure to provide and maintain adequate temperature and humidity conditions, temperature between 55- and 78-degree Fahrenheit, at 43% to 70% relative humidity and to protect from direct sunlight shall void this Limited Warranty. (Window treatments cannot have more than 3% open factor)

 •            Outdoor Solid wood products: Slight cracks, warping, imperfections and color variations are inherent to each piece and are not considered defects, discoloration is expected due to direct sun light exposure and outdoor elements, Woodtech's warranty do not apply to any of the previous described conditions. Wood adjusts at different times of the year due to the moisture and heat. We recommend oiling the product every 6 months if exposed to sunlight. Upon request we will provide the oil spec based on your product’s wood species.  Failure to protect the product with proper maintenance will void the warranty.

 •            Glass products: No warranty is given as to any glass portions of a product once the product is received and accepted in good condition.

•             Natural stone: Natural stone Is a product of the nature and therefore, variations in color, surface sheen, pattern, texture, pits and veining must be accepted.  These differences, textures and variations in stone should be considered as the beauty of natural stone instead of flaws, Woodtech's warranty do not apply to any of the previous described conditions and in addition do not apply to stains, fissures, chip, nick, scratch, cracks or breakage that may occur after stone products were received and accepted in good condition.

•             Improper installation: All products are assembled once at the factory before shipping for quality assurance and to make sure the product was manufactured to specifications and assembled properly. If you experience mis-aligned seams between panels or tops, open seams between panels or tops, or non-level furniture, these are some of the results of an improper installation, Woodtech's warranty does not apply where there has been  Improper installation. IN THE EVENT WOODTECH HAS AGREED TO PROVIDE INSTALLATION BUT CUSTOMER HAS DECLINED TO USE WOODTECH AND INSTEAD USES ITS OWN INSTALLER, WOODTECH WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLAIMS OF ANY TYPE FOLLOWING THE COMMENCEMENT OF INSTALLATION.
